Tracie D. Master Aesthetician, brings with her many years of experience with and under the direction of internationally known Cosmetic Surgeons. She is fully Board Certified in all her fields and holds active licenses in Florida and Alabama.

Permanent makeup, as we know it today, dates back to the beginning of the 20th century, although its nature was often concealed in its early days. The tattoo artist George Burchett, a major developer of the technique when it become fashionable in the 1930s, described in his memoirs how beauty salons tattooed many women without their knowledge, offering it as a "complexion treatment ... of injecting vegetable dyes under the top layer of the skin.

As uses and application of this procedure has expanded to many less qualified practitioners,it is advisable that before undergoing any form of cosmetic tattooing it is essential to ensure that the salon has appropriate license from their local health authorities for skin penetration procedures.

Fixing previously tattooed by others is considerably more demanding and sometimes impossible to do.

On occasion our SPM (permanent make-up) artist is called to camouflage skin decoloration, unsightly tattoos, surgical or accidental scars, etc. Only experience and training will dictate the proper application to use to ameliorate the offending cause.

Vitiligo is a condition that does not presents itself in any specific area of the body. It can be present in either a localized are or affecting almost the entire body. The hands and face location lays a very difficult task for even the most experienced artist and this was the case for Michael Jackson.

Michael Jackson had a skin condition of generalized Vitiligo. After years of fighting it and covering up he choose the final solution, what many people with the disease do, which is a procedure called depigmentation getting rid of most of the remaining color on the skin so the skin.

Michael Jackson's case was most prominent because his performing status although many other, even without his international acclaim, have opted to go through the same route.
